My research lies in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), with primary interests in the following topics:

• Novel forms of human-computer interaction, i.e. the design of new paradigms and techniques to significantly simplify and enhance everyday human-computer interactions;
• Novel forms of mediated communication, i.e. the design of interactive systems to support coordination, communication and collaboration between people.
